Golf courses in Scotland are renowned worldwide, with more links courses than anywhere else in the world, it is home to more than a third of the total links courses worldwide estimated at 247 by the Links Association.
The cost of golf in Scotland is as varied as the courses available for visitors, a local course where golfers deposit their green fee in an “honesty box” can be as little as £10 while championship courses such as St Andrews Old Course, Kingsbarns, Turnberry and Carnoustie green fees can run to in excess of £300-£450.
Our cruise excursion programme is popular with cruise passengers arriving at Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen.
Most cruise passengers wishing to enjoy a golf excursion are short on time, so we pick guests up from their ship, typically around 8 am and after 18 holes and some relaxation after golf they are returned to their cruise ship by 5 pm. Club hire, balls and trolleys are all included and we even through in a sleeve of balls to get you off the first tee.
From Edinburgh play the courses of the Lothians, great links that line the coast from Royal Musselburgh to Dunbar, within the city and within striking distance you will find nearly 50 courses to choose from. This is why we call it Scotland Golf Coast.
Arriving in Glasgow (Greenock), world class courses such as Royal Troon, Turnberry Ailsa and Old Prestwick are less than a one-hour drive.
Aberdeen is a lesser-known golf mecca, but your Scottish golf excursion can take you to Royal Aberdeen, Murcar Links or the breath-taking Cruden Bay, a firm favourite amongst those who know Scottish golf.
If you are looking for a longer golf break, we can help you plan your route with an escorted driver or self-drive for maximum flexibility.
