Hotel and golf options
Le Manoir Hotel is arguably the best place to stay if you are planning 100% golf during your stay. It is a comfortable superior 3-star hotel with a very British feel and importantly it is directly opposite the two principal courses at Le Touquet. The much loved La Mer (or sea course) designed in the 30‘s, and one of France’s few genuine links courses. Recent investments throughout the resort has restored this championship course to its former glory. The Forest course also opposite the hotel is also a favourite more forgiving and shorter but hugely enjoyable.
Le Manoir Hotel is a short taxi ride or drive from the centre of Le Touquet, so if you are seeking to be closer to the night life in Le Touquet with upgraded accommodation we recommend the Barriers Westminster Hotel which is plum in the centre of town and 5 stars. For those on tight budgets there are a couple of middle of the road 2- and 3-star hotels in the town centre also.
On top of the 2 Le Touquet eighteen hole courses and a short 9 hole track on site at Le Manoir there are 2 excellent courses at Hardelot (the Pines and the Dunes) just a 15 minute drive north from Le Touquet, both courses are worth 18 holes if time permits, though the Pines is the more established of the two. Our other suggestion for golf in the region, again if time permits, is the fine course at Belle Dune Links at Fort Mahon Plage around 30 minutes from Le Touquet.
